Uki Technology School is an initiative by Yarl IT Hub that offers scholarship-based and part-time accelerator programs to equip students in Northern Sri Lanka with in-demand tech skills. Programs cover programming, business and entrepreneurship, and mentorship.
Uki programs are designed for students in the Northern Province of Sri Lanka who have completed their Advanced Level (A/L) examinations but lack access to university or vocational training opportunities.
Uki has three centers: Jaffna (4th Floor, No 218 Stanley Road), Kilinochchi (No 423, Thirunagar), and Vavuniya (No 57, 2nd Cross Street). All centers operate from 08.30am to 04.30pm.
Uki offers scholarship-based programs that remove financial barriers for eligible students, alongside part-time accelerator options. Eligibility and intake details are confirmed through the application process at app.yarlithub.org/courses/.
Over 1,000 students have completed Uki courses, 90% secure internships during or after the program, and more than 30 companies are now run by Uki alumni.
